Chapter 1: The Businessman.

With overall production well underway last weekend we filmed a good part of Chapter 1: The Businessman.

 

In The Businessman; Joseph Banks young computer technician, fresh out of college, and despite his best efforts to stick tothe mainstream, he soon finds himself in a make or break situation that not only effects his future, but the future of the entire company.

I am Mordechai

Hello world!

I am not much of a blogger, but it has been such a long time since I, as Mordechai, have produced anything publicly, and so I wanted to begin the documentation of the journey of our next big project.

Enter: ‘I am Mordechai’.

I am Mordechai will be a feature that parallels the life of Mordechai Vanunu (an Israeli nuclear disarmament activist and political prisoner) through the lives of various seemingly ordinarily individuals.  The project will be broken into 7 youtube friendly chapter and have a longer more feature length edit.

The project is an extension of the work of the band ‘Mordecahi‘.

The best way to think of this is; that much like a band would make an album of songs, we’re making an album of short films.

This is, in many ways, an extension of my song writing. It’s a chance to really grow as an artist, impact the culture in a current and relate-able way, tell Vanunu’s story to a new empowered generation and find this story’s place in today’s world.

The project has been a long time coming and production is well underway.

We are looking at a late 2011/early 2012 staggered release.
